The Three Lions have continued their rich vein of form as they secured qualification to next year’s footballing extravaganza Serbia with a 4-0 win over Kosovo.

Gareth Southgate’s young charges are racking up records as they establish themselves as a major footballing force. The Three Lions secured qualification to Euro 2020 after scoring 37 goals, the most out of 55 participants.

We look at the five players who have shined in England’s bid for European qualification.

Ben Chilwell

The Leicester City defender followed up his hat-trick of assists against Montenegro with another fine performance in English colors away at Kosovo. Belying his youth, Chilwell has become a catalyst for Southgate’s men from the left flank.

His marauding runs on the left wing complement Trent Alexander-Arnold, as the young duo make a name for themselves.

He has featured in all of England’s European fixtures in 2019 and is on his way to challenge Ashley Cole as the best left-back in annals of English footballing history.
