Samuel Eto’o is a Barcelona legend who spent five years in Catalonia, becoming the fan-favorite by constantly scoring in the process.
Eto’o is very outspoken after his retirement, and it’s no wonder given that his career lasted for more than 20 years playing all over the globe.
However, Cameroonian’s best days came in the FC Barcelona shirt, where Eto’o played from 2004 to 2009.
The striker often looks back at his alterations with Pep Guardiola, stinging the Spanish manager at every opportunity.
Not only did he score a lot, but he was part of a team that introduced Barcelona into a new era full of titles and prosperity.
Eto’o won two Champions Leagues and three La Liga’s during his tenure at Barca.
This time, he spoke about the magician he’s played with at Barca not named Messi – Iniesta.
“I shared a dressing-room with many great players,’ Eto’o commented.
“If I have to choose one I would say Iniesta. He impressed me from the first day… Messi is obviously from another planet so we can put him aside.
“But Iniesta made me say ‘wow… hats off.'”
Just after leaving Barca, Eto’o joined Inter where he and Mourinho went on to win the treble.
This is a historic feat, as no player ever won two trebles in a row, let alone with two different clubs in the world’s toughest competitions.
Iniesta is now playing in Japan, showcasing his talent in the Far East.
Andres Iniesta also remains a synonym for big moments, matches and goals.
The Spaniard scored in World Cup final to bring the first trophy ever for Spain, as well as 90th-minute euro goal against Chelsea to pave the path for Champions League glory for Barca.
