The qualifiers put the Portuguese into Group B, where they will battle out against four more teams for a chance to qualify
The 2016 Euro champions, Portugal, will start defending their crown on March, as they have to qualify to the prestigious tournament together with all the hosts.
But the good news for them is that they will have twice the chance to book a ticket to the final tournament, as they are guaranteed at least Playoffs.
Portugal was drawn in Group B of the UEFA euro 2020 qualifying tournament together with Ukraine, Serbia, Lithuania, and Luxembourg.
Their superstar Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t appeared with the team since they were eliminated in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia during the summer.
But he will surely return when the qualifiers start in March of next year.
From this group, Lithuania and Luxembourg have yet to qualify for a Euro tournament.
Meanwhile, Ukraine and Serbia, together with Portugal, have been guaranteed a spot on the Playoffs after their UEFA Nations League results.
