It’d be surprising not to see Cristiano Ronaldo near the top of any list of goalscoring records. After all, if there’s one thing he loves more than scoring goals it’s breaking records.

The Portugal captain has scored the most goals in a single Premier League season for Manchester United, the most away goals in a single La Liga season, the most goals in the final, semi-final, quarter-final of the Champions League, is the only player to score 10+ goals in 7 consecutive Champions League seasons, the quickest to score 150, 200, and 300 goals in La Liga, has scored the most goals in a single season for Juventus – and that is just a peep into his extraordinary and extended record book.

However, the football icon does top the list presented here – in fact, he’s more close to the bottom than to the top!
