Patrice Evra has opened up on his conversation with Cristiano Ronaldo prior to Juventus victory over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
Ronaldo’s treble helped the Bianconeri complete a major comeback against Atleti on Tuesday and reach the Champions League quarter-finals.
And former Juve full-back Patrice Evra confirmed the Portuguese had the plans to continue his good run against the Rojiblancos five days before.
“Behind the scenes… these are messages between me and Cristiano five days before the massive comeback!!!” wrote the former Bianconeri and Manchester United left-back on Instagram.
The only person in the world that can take the pressure and be the best player in the world like Michael Jordan is @Cristiano Ronaldo. Don’t try to tap the screen for his number. 😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/WDl2j0dH0V

“This just shows you the confidence, the anger, the determination from the best player in the world.”
Evra who was Ronaldo’s teammate back in their United days went on to praise the parents of the Portuguese star as well as his character on big occasions.
“We should thank [his] mummy and daddy and of course God for giving to us that nice man and an unbelievable player.
“Every big occasion with big pressure my brother [he] always proves he is the man!!! So please don’t be jealous I just wanna share and if you don’t agree I can’t do anything for you…
“Enjoy your life but you have to recognise he is simply the best of the best and don’t try to tap the screen for his number.”
Juventus will discover their quarter-final opponents on Friday afternoon, with the four English teams in the group, a potential opponent.
