Atlanta United goalkeeper Brad Guzan is celebrating winning the MLS Cup for his team over the weekend.
The former Aston Villa man was part of the team which beat Portland Timbers 2-0 to write a little bit of history in the club’s short existence.
Asked how he’ll celebrate the first major domestic medal of his career, Guzan told Birmingham live:
“I will be off to DisneyWorld later in the week.”
“First and foremost it’s huge for the city, it’s big for us as a team, big for us a club being our second year. But most importantly it’s huge for the city.
“These fans have been behind us since day one when this was just an idea. To be able to now give them a championship after two years is huge.
“For me personally this is up there with the top moments, you never know when you are going to be in another final, or if you will get the opportunity again.
“So to be able to win it I couldn’t ask for anything more.
