Ramon Calderon admits that while Paul Pogba is a great player, he feels that the France international’s behaviour is something that worries him.
Paul Pogba is once again linked with a move away from Manchester United. And after hinting at a new challenge, the France international may be sold by the residents of Old Trafford. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would definitely be livid at Pogba for going public with his intentions.
In order to ensure that the team spirit isn’t affected, perhaps it would be right to sell the troublesome midfielder.
And former Real Madrid president, Ramon Calderon believes that Pogba’s behaviour is his unbecoming.
As reported by the Standard, Calderon feels that Pogba may be playing long ball with Real Madrid.
“From my experience, some players when they know the interest of a club for signing them, as in the case of Pogba, they either use it to get a raise in the club they are or to push and leave to join the club that is interested in them.
“I don’t have a personal knowledge of what Pogba is thinking about, but we have some hints. He’s used the same strategy as [Eden] Hazard in speaking out publicly and saying that he would like to leave the club.
It’s big trouble, also, because Real Madrid need not to spend more than €100m of the money they get from sales. Up until now, no one wants to leave.
“Everyone is excited about seeing new faces here. He is big news here in Spain, that possibility is big news.”
“Zidane has said many times he is keen on him, he likes him, he would like to have him on his side but I don’t think United is the best client to deal with when talking about money. They will be waiting in the office, expecting to see a cheque with a high amount of money on it.
“He is a top player, no doubt. I don’t know if his behaviour recently has been the right one. Everyone would like to have a player of the skill and talent that Pogba has. I know that Zidane likes him so, in that case, I suppose Real Madrid will push hard to get him.”
