The young midfielder had a successful first season in the Italian Lega Serie A and he was also earned his first cap with Spain.
23-year-old midfielder Fabian Ruiz is enjoying his time in the Italian Lega Serie A.
The Spanish player was bought by Napoli in the summer of 2018, and since then he has been one of the team’s key footballers.
This good effort has earned him a call to the Spanish senior national team, and he will also feature in the U21 squad that will participate in the U21 EURO.
“The year that just passed was very positive, both on a personal level and for Napoli,” he was quoted by Gianluca Di Marzio.
“We competed on every front and we only lacked a title, which is what we all wanted.”
“But now we’re ready, we want to start again with great desire and a lot of hope,” he said.
“[Manager Carlo Ancelotti] helped me grow a lot, he focused on despite fact I was a young player going through his first experience abroad and in the Champions League.”
“When you have to move a lot at the tactical level, it’s so important to have someone who gives you precise instructions, this is how it was with Ancelotti”.
