Fabregas congratulates Hazard on Real move

The former Chelsea footballer believes his ex-teammate will thrive in the Spanish La Liga since the Blues cannot offer the same success opportunities.

Eden Hazard has been officially announced to leave Chelsea in the English Premier League and join Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid.

And former Blues footballer Cesc Fabregas believes this is the best choice the Belgian can pick, as he will surely thrive with Los Merengues.

“Great moments on and off the pitch,” he told Metro.

“It’s been a pleasure sharing all the good moments and especially the not so good ones that we overcame together over the last 5 years with the reward of winning it all.”

“Enjoy your new challenge amigo!” he added.

“Unfortunately, I don’t think Chelsea at this moment can give him what he deserves.”

He explained: “In terms of potentially winning absolutely everything, and even talking about the Ballon d’Or.”

Mendy remembers when he was in a wheelchair

The French defender was in a wheelchair for almost seven months, after he had hip surgery when he was a 15-year-old boy.

“I know he says he doesn’t mind about it, but deep down he does.”

“He really wants to win the Champions League,” Fabregas assured.

“I think that there is currently a ceiling at Chelsea and he can do so much higher than this ceiling at a club like Real Madrid because these clubs – Real Madrid, Barcelona, now Manchester City, Bayern Munich – always come back.”

“They will have terrible seasons at Real Madrid, but they will be back. No doubt about it,” he concluded.
