Turkish giants Galatasaray are chasing Colombian Star Radamel Falcao.

According to Marca, the Colombian superstar is wanted by the Istanbul based club.

The Monaco striker has been rumoured to be looking for a new challenge in his career.

This follows comments by a former Galatasaray player and now an agent. Ahmet Bulut is an agent who is associated with Jorge Mendes and his Portuguese company Gestifute.

Super agent Mendes represents Falcao.

Only a few days ago, on July 31st agent Bulut posted a social media post from the principality.

This post was liked by Falcao who then started following the agent.

This, of course, has sent the transfer speculation into meltdown.

Upon Bulut’s return to Instanbul, he was met by the press at the airport.

He was asked about the Colombian.

He said:

“It is not right for me to talk right now.”

“Falcao is a player with an ongoing contract”

“We are working on a transfer.”

“In three to five days, we hope the issue is sound and clear.”

It can be assumed that there are meetings and phone calls are taking place behind closed doors. Agents reaching out to clubs, and agents reporting back to players.

This may take a while as Falcao’s financial package will be considerable. It remains to be seen what Monaco will determine his valuation to be.

This is a player that cost over 7 million Euro’s a season just to loan.

The clubs that loaned him (Manchester United and Chelsea) balked at the asking price and sent him back to Monaco.

The one thing Galatasaray have in their favour is he only has 12 months on his contract.

At 33 years of age, Monaco may prefer to get something rather than nothing.

This is a player they have struggled to offload on several occasions.

One thing for sure is the Gala fans like the idea and have made it go viral.
