Sources have confirmed there is interest in Barcelona teenage sensation Ansu fati, but if he is sold the fans may never forgive the president.

There have been rumors of Manchester United testing the waters to Barcelona’s resolve with a potential sale of 17-year-old Ansu Fati.

The teenage sensation burst onto the scene this past season and has already become a household name in Catalonia.

His debut and subsequent performances were so impressive that he was granted a contract that sees him have a 170 million Euro release clause until he is 18 and then a 400 million euro clause once he turns 18.

This apparently has not stopped the likes of Manchester United putting the feelers out to see if Barcelona is really willing to turn down some serious money for the prodigious talent.

Should the Red Devils stump up the cash there is little to nothing Barca and president Josep Maria Bartomeu can do.

However, if the lure of around 100 million Euro’s plus add-ons tempts them to cash-in, there could apparently be problems from the fans.

A source close to the club told ESPN:

“There has been interest in Ansu for a while from many clubs.”

“Even Real Madrid were monitoring him before he renewed his contract.”

“However much money is being mentioned, you can ignore the speculation, even if the club lacks money at the moment.”

“It is not news to us that clubs are asking about him, but Barca will not sell.”

“Ansu is the future of the club and if he was sold, Bartomeu may even have to go into hiding!”

Fati is one of several youngsters to take football by storm in 2020.
