It’s about time to discuss FC Barcelona’s most important movements for the summer transfer window, one of the busiest in recent memory.
The season that just ended for FC Barcelona will inevitably push the club to make a complete renovation of the club during the summer transfer market.
The Catalan club believed they were actually competing for all the titles, but everything quickly became a nightmare over the last few weeks.
It all started with a fourth consecutive Champions League elimination at Anfield against Liverpool.
This new setback affected the squad on a psychological level, they thought they would win the double but they also lost the Copa del Rey final vs Valencia.
This complete disaster will inevitably push the club’s board to think about changing things from the root, starting with the manager.
Lionel Messi expressed his full support to manager Ernesto Valverde before the most recent fiasco against Valencia.
However, another elimination automatically placed the Txingurri manager’s job in complete jeopardy.
The options are limited but very interesting, Diario Sport reports that Robert Martinez actually is one of the most viable options to take on Valverde’s position.
According to the publication, the club will sack the current manager before the end of the week.
After the gaffer’s future is sorted, Barcelona will start the renovation.

FC Barcelona’s possible exits.
Given how disastrous the season ended, FC Barcelona will have to cut some of the veteran players during the summer.
Ernesto Valverde’s exit will go hand in hand with Ivan Rakitic, a player who was considered one of the manager’s most important footballers.
The other names that will most likely leave are players who simply didn’t live up to the expectations that were created around them.
The most likely exit will be Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian forward is considered one of the club’s biggest flops in recent years and they simply can’t keep paying him for the underwhelming performances he’s delivered lately.
The other possible exit will be Ousmane Dembele, the French player has suffered too many injuries and he has drained the club’s patience this season.
Kevin-Prince Boateng is also on the list of players who simply didn’t work this season.
Samuel Umtiti also seems like an element who doesn’t have a place inside the squad due to the centre-back overbooking they will have next season.
Matthijs de Ligt’s possible arrival could push the French defender’s exit to another major club in Europe.
FC Barcelona’s possible arrivals.
The Catalan club doesn’t have its arrivals very clear this summer, but they certainly are trying to sign some of the best players who are available on the market.
The most obvious choice for the upcoming summer was Matthijs de Ligt but agent Mino Raiola is turning the negotiations into an impossible task.
Antoine Griezmann is also one of the players who could reinforce the club, but some of the players didn’t like how he toyed with the institution last summer and he could be rejected.
We can also confirm that the most important position for the Catalan club to sign next summer is a centre-forward.
The squad is already trying to find the ideal replacement for Luis Suarez, a veteran striker who is still considered a crucial part of the club but is not getting any younger.
The club will try to bring a group of competitive players who can accompany Leo Messi during the final years of his best level of performance.
The general idea is to help the Argentine win at least another Champions League trophy before he decides to hang up his boots.
