Cesc Fabregas has finally revealed the mystery of the food fight between Arsenal and Manchester United and what kind of pizza hit Sir Alex Ferguson.

Back in 2004 Arsenal and Manchester United were fighting for Premier League titles.

They were not the sides they are today feeding on the scraps left by Liverpool and City.

So much so when the two contenders collided, things got ugly very easily.

There is one incident that has been somewhat mysterious though between the two.

Stories emerged of a fight in the tunnel after a game at Old Trafford.

It was the match that brought an end to the Gunners 49 game unbeaten run. Dutch striker Ruud Van Nistelrooy scored the winning goal for the Red Devils.

As you can imagine Arsenal pride was hurt. The Red Devils knew it and gloated at their achievement.

Tempers flared on the field, and this spilled over into the tunnel after the game. It was here that the famous food fight took place.

It saw Manchester s finest police officers have to step in and get between the bickering footballers and flying food.

Spanish international Cesc Fabregas has since admitted that he was guilty of throwing a slice of pizza at legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Now over 15 years after the ferocious battle, in a twitter question and answer session with fans, Fabregas reveals all.
