Marcos Silva is building something of a dynasty at Everton but it appears that Goodison Park might not be a great place for some of the squad players.

This summer, Everton have paid decent money to bring in reinforcements for the upcoming season. The club is already working on more signings which could complicate things for a few players in the team.

Yerry Mina

Last summer, Everton paid a lot of money to secure the services of the Colombian international. Still only 24, Mina has time to develop further. However, the youngster’s struggles cannot be ignored. The former Barcelona centre-back made only 13 appearances in the league last season and wasn’t able to really nail down a regular spot in the starting XI.

While Kurt Zouma is back at parent club Chelsea, it would still be difficult for Mina to return to the starting XI on a regular basis. Young Mason Holgate is proving to be a great prospect and will be given regular chances to partner alongside Michael Keane in the starting XI.
