Five players who will struggle at Arsenal next season

Arsenal could potentially be the surprise package of the season following the signing of Nicolas Pepe but some of the players might not be part of the team next season.

At Arsenal, things are always changing. Initially, the club wasn’t willing to spend a lot of money on new players. Things changed following the signing of Pepe whose arrival could see one player struggle for game time next season. However, the player in question wouldn’t be the only one.

Papastathopoulos says he’s sorry

Arsenal defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos misplaced a pass that allowed Watford to start a come back from a 2-0 temporal defeat to a 2-2 draw.

The German international has been at Arsenal long enough to get used to playing in the English Premier League. However, Mustafi has been insanely incompetent ever since he arrived at the Emirates.

Frequent mistakes that result in goals that shouldn’t be scored saw Arsenal struggle a lot throughout last season. Unai Emery cannot afford such displays next season. With the arrival of William Saliba, Mustafi is likely to be warming the bench next season.
