The former Arsenal midfielder knows the player is a true Gunners footballer, but that his work problems should be solved before anything else.
It is believed that Arsenal broke a promise to Laurent Koscielny.
And the player stunned the Gunners by not traveling with the team to the United States, as he still has 12 months left on his contract.
Today former midfielder Mathieu Flamini has come out to defend his friend.
“Lolo, my thoughts and support are with you,” he told Metro.
“First and foremost, I know how committed and true to the Arsenal badge you have been all these years.”
He explained: “Furthermore, I know how hard it must be for you to face this difficult situation.”
“Emotions run high so sometimes with reflection, one can look at things from a different perspective. Given all of the above, I’m sure a positive solution will be found.”
