Florentino Perez urges Zidane to forget Paul Pogba

The Real Madrid boss is eager to sign Paul Pogba this summer but Florentino Perez has asked him to use Gareth Bale instead.

While Zidane is hell-bent on signing Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer, the Frenchman has so far not been able to get his wish.

The France international clearly wants to leave Old Trafford. However, the Red Devils are not willing to sell the player for anything less than their asking price. And with Real Madrid already having invested so much money on the likes of Eden Hazard, Ferland Mendy and others, funds are not that high.

Moreover, with the club unable to offload the likes of Isco and Gareth Bale, raising funds also seems to be not an option. Gareth Bale’s wages are such that moving him to another club would be a herculean task.

Paul Pogba meanwhile, is still seen as an important part of United’s future. Although Solskjaer wanted to offload the player this summer, the Norwegian is now looking to stick with the Frenchman. There is even a possibility of making him the club captain.

Regardless of that, Zidane is really eager to bring the player to Madrid as he seeks to build another fabled outfit that could conquer the world for the next decade or so.

But Florentino Perez isn’t too confident of a deal happening according to the Daily Mail. With United not looking to lower their demands and the club unable to move on Gareth Bale, Zidane has been advised to use the Welshman.

Zidane doesn’t really want Bale as part of his team but will eventually be forced to using him if Paul Pogba isn’t signed.

Moreover, the Real Madrid hierarchy isn’t that fond of Pogba whose extravagant lifestyle is something which is seen as a potential issue for the club.

Guess we don’t always get what we want.
