Paulo Fonseca is gearing up his Roma side to face Juventus Sunday, and he hopes Cristiano Ronaldo’s angry after the game.
However, a poor showing against Torino last week meant that their return from the winter break was disappointing.
His side though now face an even tougher test as they prepare to host defending champions Juventus.
Of course, Fonseca and his side will be paying extra special attention to Cristiano Ronaldo.
In his pre-match press conference reported by Football Italia, the Roma boss is looking forward to the challenge of paying the best. But, he also hopes that his side can leave CR7 in a rather unhappy mood after the game.
“Juve is a great team, the best in Italy together with Inter, so it’ll be a tough game.”
“It’ll be like a normal game. We’ll be playing against a great team, but for us, it’ll be a normal game.”
“Juve and Inter are the best teams in Italy, but I can’t say who is better.”
“These are the games that we all want to play.”
As for Ronaldo, he added:
“I don’t know, I hope he’s angry after the game.”
I hope Fonseca realizes he can’t substitute Ronaldo. That’s how Maurizio Sarri makes him angry.
Or maybe he’s going to try and grab him for a selfie?
