Paul Parker has claimed Jamie Vardy to be a better striker than Harry Kane while making a comparison between the two.
Jamie Vardy has been in excellent form for Leicester City this season. The Englishman tops the Premier League goalscoring charts with 16 to his name.
Meanwhile, Spurs star Harry Kane is not far behind. With 9 goals in 15 games, Kane is tied at the fourth position along with four other players.
Former England international Paul Parker believes Jamie Vardy edges out Harry Kane in quality. Parker told talkSPORT that he would select the Leicester striker over Kane in his team while highlighting the former’s influence for his team.
“I would rather play with Jamie Vardy in my team than Harry Kane because I know what I’m getting week-in, week-out,” he said.
“When I watch people jog around and not even bother to try and make a tackle and come off the pitch with clean shorts… I’m sorry, call me a dinosaur, but I would rather just play with Vardy.
“Put him up there and you’ll know he’ll make a bad ball into a good ball.
“I’d much rather play against Harry Kane, all day long.“I’d fancy my chances; every time I’ve seen people try to beat him up, he just accepts it.”
