For Alvaro Negredo Vinicius Junior will be good in the future if he learns to play with a cold head in the following seasons.
Alvaro Negredo played for Real Madrid in 2009, but he also played in the B team from 2005 to 2007.
And he knows that is very difficult to be a Los Blancos player since the team is always under pressure.
“I like Karim Benzema a lot. He won’t score 40 goals, but he brings out the best in others,” he said to Marca about the team’s necessity for a number nine.
“There’s also Vinicius, who is just failing in those final few metres.”
“Yes, not only the aim but also the head and decision making, which Vinicius is lacking,” he explained about the Brazilian youngster.
“Not that it makes him a bad player. He dares and is fast, but can be improved.”
“Little by little, he will improve, because he is very young,” he continued.
“It’s not easy to overtake Marcelo even as a first-team player, but Sergio Reguilon has great strength, character, attitude and quality.”
“Maybe not as much as Marcelo, but he defends a little better and I think the kid will do very well,” he added.
Negredo also played for Manchester City in the English Premier League from 2013 to 2015, and he doesn’t know if the Citizens will win the UEFA Champions League.
“I don’t know because there are a lot of teams with a very high level. Juventus are very strong, Atletico Madrid too.”
“It was impressive to play with Sergio Aguero. We had great chemistry from when I arrived. I’m very fond of him and admire him a lot. He helped me to grow as a footballer,” he concluded about his time in England.
