France and Turkey have secured their places at Euro 2020, after Turkey’s 0-0 draw with Iceland.

France hasn’t, in fact, kicked a ball yet in this round of qualifying games.

Turkey and Iceland played out a 0-0 draw in the early kick-off in Istanbul.

This means it is now mathematically impossible for any of the other teams to take a top-two position in Group H.

The defending World Champions France will play Moldova later today as they will now battle the Turks for the top spot.

Turkey currently tops the group with 20 points, and France are second on 19 with a game in hand.

Iceland’s haul of 16 points so far, and after their nations League showing, they are in with a good shot of making the group of non-automatic qualifiers.

This will consist of 16 teams, that will playout a playoff group for the last chance to qualify.
