After ending his Bayern career last season in a spectacular fashion, Ribery is now dominating Serie A in Fiorentina’s shirt.

However, club of Bayern’s life will always be Bayern. He’s beloved there as one of the best players to ever play at Allianz Arena.

He talked about the current situation at Bayern, comparing Sancho’s chances in the team. In his interview with Sport Bild, he said:

“Sancho is a good player, but Bayern have enough good players in this position – where should he play?”

“There is [Thomas] Muller, [Serge] Gnabry, [Ivan] Perisic, [Kingsley] Coman, [Philippe] Coutinho, [Robert] Lewandowski. There is a lot of competition. I hope Sancho confirms his good year, but there would be little room for him in the Bayern squad.”

It’s obvious that Ribery rates his former teammates highly. The Frenchman won nine league titles with Bayern since his arrival in the summer of 2007.

After spending 12 years at the club, both him and Ribery left, leaving a huge gap on the pitch, and in the hearts of many Bayern fans.

However, the Bavarian club is adapting to life without “Robbery” well for now. They beat Tottenham 7-2 in the Champions League demolition.

However, the league was never as competitive as this season; Gladbach and Wolfsburg hold the first two spots. On the other hand, five teams, including Bayern, are tied at 14 points each.

With the departure of club legends, Lewandowski became the main man in Munich, scoring at will this season.
