Frank Lampard has won the Manager of the Month award by Barclays for October.
Chelsea were under heavy scrutiny before the start of this season. The departure of their star player Eden Hazard was believed to cause a dent in Chelsea’s performances. But Chelsea have been proving their critics wrong ever since the beginning of the season.
The atmosphere in London is better than ever since Lampard’s arrival. The manager turned player for the Blues is just checking all the right boxes. Everyone at Chelsea seems to be on the same page as their boss. Frank Lampard has done the job that no one else could’ve done better.
Finally, Lampard is being recognized for making the change in the Chelsea dressing room. Frank Lampard has won the Premier League’s Manager of the Month award for October by Barclays. The Blues boss trumped Jurgen Klopp, Graham Potter, Brendan Rodgers, and Dean Smith to land the award for himself.
“Winning an individual award like this is the perfect time to appreciate the close staff who have worked so hard since pre-season and the players, as they are the ones who go out and perform,” Frank Lampard said.
“I am delighted for everybody.
“Out of the Premier League games we played in October, the one away against Burnley was the highlight because of the way we were so dominant in our performance and it is a very tough place to go.”
