The likes of de Ligt, Timothy Weah and others have been hotly linked with coming to or leaving Ligue 1.
With Matthijs de Ligt set to make a decision on his transfer to one of Europe’s leading lights, Ligue 1 could add another star to their stable.
The young Dutchman has been attracting a lot of interest from the likes of Barcelona and Manchester United but the scenery has changed in the last two days. Paris Saint-Germain are apparently front runners to stealing the player’s signature. However, Mino Raiola has already called rumours suggesting that he was in Paris as fake.
Regardless, the player continues to be linked with a move to the Ligue 1 giants.
PSG looking to balance their accounts
In order to balance their accounts, PSG need to recover between € 30 million to € 40 million before the end of this month. And in order to do that, the Ligue 1 giants have to sell a few other the younger players. Reports in Footmercato claim that Les Parisiens are looking to sell Moussa Diaby to Bayer Leverkusen.
Timothy Weah is already close to sealing a move to Lille. Stanley N’Soki meanwhile, is being looked at by several Ligue 1 clubs and by Eintracht Frankfurt.
Reports claim that Moussa Diaby will be sold to Bayer Leverkusen for € 15 million. This move doesn’t send a great message for PSG’s youth teams but then again, balancing the accounts is equally important.
Ligue 1 giants looking to hold on to prized asset
In the Rhone province, Olympique Lyonnais are looking to see which player from their fabled academy might be snagged. 20 year old Hamza Rafia hasn’t signed a contract extension and could be sold. Juventus are reportedly circling around the talented attacking midfielder.
Liverpool back in for Nabil Fekir
Meanwhile, Les Gones could also be set to lose Nabil Fekir. The Frenchman was on the verge of joining Liverpool last summer but a deal never materialized. However, the Reds have reignited their interest.
Young Ligue 2 sensation set for Velodrome intro
Ligue 1 giants Olympique Marseille are closely monitoring Silas Wamangituka currently playing for Paris FC in Ligue 2. The youngster scored 11 goals in 31 matches last season and Provence claims that he could be available for as little as € 6 million.
