Tanganga set for new Spurs deal.

Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga is expected to follow teammate Eric Dier’s suit and sign a contract extension with the club. The new long-term contract is expected to run until 2024 and significantly improve his current wages, which is around €1000 per week. [Evening Standard]

Chelsea looking at potential Gimenez move.

Chelsea have been closely monitoring Atletico Madrid’s Jose Gimenez as of late. After bolstering his attacking options, Frank Lampard is now desperate to improve his defense going into the next season.

However, the Blues are already stacked in the center-back position. Hence, they will have to offload at least one center-back before deciding move forward on Gimenez’s transfer. [The Telegraph]

Zaniolo on Spurs’ radar.

Tottenham are keeping tabs on AS Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo. The club hierarchy is convinced of his abilities and view him as a potential signing for the future. The 21-year old midfielder, however, is not a priority for this summer for Jose Mourinho.

Spurs were even ready to offer around €33 million but Roma had a higher valuation for the Italy international. [The Guardian]

BVB open to selling Sancho this summer.

Borussia Dortmund have realized that this summer will the time to part ways with Jadon Sancho. There is a belief in the Dortmund camp that there is a deflation coming in the transfer market. Hence, they are ready to sell Sancho while his market value is at its peak.

Manchester United could start bidding for him as low as around €60 million (£55m). Including additional bonuses, the total sum would rise up to around €88 million (£80m). [Independent]

La Liga triplet after Bizot.

Sevilla, Valencia, and Celta Vigo are all interested in signing AZ Alkmaar’s Marco Bizot. Bizot ‘s contract with the Dutch side runs through to the summer of 2022. The goalkeeper could be available for cheap. [Mundo Deportivo]
