Manchester United defeated Fulham 2-1 in their Premier League game on Sunday. The Red Devils returned to winning ways as Alejandro Garnacho proved decisive yet again.

    Garnacho strikes again!

Man Utd struggled to find their feet in the game early on, while Fulham looked for a quick breakthrough.

Thanks to their impressive counter-pressing, United prevented their opponents from creating enough chances. However, they were also limited to their own half for most of the first period.

Erik ten Hag’s men finally broke the deadlock through a counter-attack in the 14th minute. Following a brilliant interception from Casemiro and a precise assist from Bruno Fernandes, Christian Eriksen scored his first Man Utd goal to put his side ahead.

United came close to extending their lead a few more times before the first-half whistle. But their failure to kill the game off led to Fulham’s equalizer in the 61st minute.

Daniel James made it 1-1 for the hosts, forcing the Red Devils to double down on their attacks in the final ten minutes.

Eriksen completed his fantastic performance by providing an assist for Garnacho in the 93rd minute. A brilliant piece of buildup play saw the teenager win the game for the Red Devils with a powerful low shot.

The victory keeps Man Utd in the Premier League’s fifth spot ahead of the World Cup break. Ten Hag’s men will return to action with a match against Burnley in the EFL Cup on December 20.
