AC Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso is currently the lowest paid coach in the Serie A this season

The 40 year-old replaced ousted coach Vincenzo Montella back in November and since his appointment, Milan have enjoyed an upturn in form and have been unbeaten so far in 2018.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports, according to Football Italia, Gattuso is still on the same contract as when he was the coach of the Milan Primavera team. The Italian will earn €120,000 for the season, but it will make him the lowest-paid coach in the Serie A.

Verona coach Fabio Pecchia, who’s side currently sit 19th in the league standings, will earn €250,000 for this season. Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is on a reported €7m, while Inter coach Luciano Spalletti is on a €4m per season.

Gattuso’s predecessor, Montella, was suppose to have earned €3m for this season before he was fired from the San Siro.
