Gattuso speaks ahead of Lazio match

AC Milan and Lazio will play tomorrow night in the first leg of the Copa Italia Semifinal and Gattuso explained how the team is getting ready.

Tomorrow night Lazio is ready to host AC Milan in the first leg of the Coppa Italia Semifinal.

And for Rossoneri manager Gennaro Gattuso, this is an opportunity to play against a big team who plays well.

“We must focus on this match, and then focus back on the league,” he told Gianluca Di Marzio.

“We have been in good form. The team is earning it, Piatek and Paqueta especially. But everyone is playing well.”

“We are happy with the enthusiastic displays, but we will wait and see how it turns out. Tomorrow we are playing the Semifinal, we will approach the match feeling humble and respecting our opponents,” he explained.

“Lazio are a big team and they play really well.”

“Donnarumma? He has incredible stats, around 175 appearances with Milan. He has a great career ahead of him,” Gattuso said.

Berlusconi wants to make Milan great again

The controversial Italian businessman and a long-time Milan owner who just left the club a few years ago is active in the public eye...

“In this job you have to continually get better, he understands that and must follow it. In difficult stretches, he needs to fully believe in himself. He has grown a lot from a mental standpoint and needs to keep on improving there.”

“He’s doing well and he’s training with us, he’s had a serious injury and he’s a very important player for us, Bakayoko and the playing midfielders are playing in an incredible way,” he said about Biglia.

“But he has to be an added value: it’s important to let him be ready, he must give us something even when he leaves the bench, he is an important leader.”

“He described me as a father? We must all go in the same direction, but some long face for someone who thinks to play from the first minute, there is: If there is need to have a chat or stay close to the players, I do it with pleasure,” Gattuso added about Bakayoko.
