Olivier Giroud saw his playing time completely cut out this season by Frank Lampard after Tammy Abraham established himself as the primary striker.
Giroud has made just three starts in the Premier League for Chelsea this season.
This resulted in the Frenchman wanting to leave the club in January. The striker wants more playing time ahead of Euro 2020.
It looks like Inter took the bite. According to L’Equipe, Nerazzurri are ready to offer Giroud playing time.
Their third striker behind Lautaro and Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, picked up an injury.
This left Antonio Conte with too little options upfront.
Hopefully, the deal goes through so we can watch Giroud at his best once again.
