The former Arsenal man is keen to play football on a regular basis with Leroy Sane who has been linked with a move away from Manchester City for several weeks.
Bayern Munich winger, Serge Gnabry has admitted that it would be amazing to have Leroy Sane play in Germany from next season. The young winger has been constantly linked with a move to the Bundesliga giants. However, Manchester City have so far been able to hold on to the talented player.
Regardless, Gnabry has talked up Leroy Sane playing for the Bavarians in the future.
While speaking to goal.com, the former Arsenal man stated that Sane would definitely improve the team.
“I would love to have him at Bayern. I am having fun playing with him and he would be an improvement for our team,” he said.
Sane is reportedly frustrated at the lack of playing time he got during the 2018/19 campaign and is also looking for a fresh challenge.
Gnabry’s statement isn’t the first time a German player has talked about Sane’s move to Munich. Only last week, Joshua Kimmich urged the team to sign Sane and added that the winger would “suit the club perfectly”.
PSG playmaker, Julian Draxler also welcomed Sane with Bayern’s official motto, “Mia san Mia.”
And Gnabry, who shares a great bond with Sane, admitted that the two even have a unique way of greeting each other.
“It’s hard to show you what the handshake looks like when it’s only me,” he laughed.
Sane on his part, hasn’t said anything about where he would be heading this summer. Clearly, rumors haven’t affected his game with the youngster scoring in his team’s 2-0 win over Belarus on Saturday.
Sane is expected to start the game against Estonia as Germany look to put away a woeful 2018 behind them.
