Golden Boy 20-men shortlist announced

A bunch of youngsters emerged this season, and the Golden Boy award is receiving a lot of attention this year.

Some huge names in football won the award in the past. Lionel Messi, Wayne Rooney, and Paul Pogba are just some of the big names to win it.

The previous award winner is Juventus’ Matthijs de Ligt who is also in the contention this year.

The award ceremony will take place on December 16 in Turin, Italy.

The shortlist is now cut from 40 to 20 names.

Some notable names to receive nominations this year include Barcelona’s prodigy Ansu Fati at just 16. He’s also by fat the youngest among the nominees.

Premier League features with Phil Foden, Moise Kean, Mason Mount, and Matteo Guendouzi.
