It is unclear if his off the field antics are the primary cause for his lack of form, but it’s true to say he has been disappointing at best.
Marco Silva did recently give the player a vote of confidence, in that he will find his feet in a tough league and eventually come good.
How long that eventually will be is a rather big uncertainty.
