Juventus are rumoured to be offloading Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani to Roma.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, there is a rumoured loan deal about to be struck between the two clubs.

Since his appointment, Maurizio Sarri has been ruthless in cutting loose players he does not see as part of his plan for Juventus.

Higuain and Rugani are just two of several stars that he is trying to get rid of. Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic, Sami Khedira. He has already sold several, including Spinazzola to Roma and Cancelo to Manchester City.

The Turin giants have already acquired several new recruits. Matthijs De Ligt, Aaron Ramsey, Adrien Rabiot, Gianluigi Buffon. They are only 4 of over a dozen.

There is still talk of more new faces. Even the possibility of trying to lure Paul Pogba back.

Its rumored the package deal would cost the Giallorossi 14 million Euros to loan the pair for the season. It has not been determined as yet if the deal would include an option to buy or an agreement to buy for one or both the players.

Higuain finds himself well behind an already formidable attacking line up, that includes Cristiano Ronaldo.

He has already had one failed loan spell at Premier League Chelsea.  A deal to continue in his favored Serie A may suit him.

Rugani is a defender and has witnessed Sarri bring in five new defensive players, including Matthijs De Ligt.

There has been an apparent meeting between the two clubs directors of football.¬†Juventus’s Fabio Paratici and Roma’s Gianluca Petrachi, respectively have apparently sat down in an attempt to thrash out a deal.

Roma has undergone a major rebuild too this season under Daniel Fonseca. The two experienced players would be seen as a much-nedded boost to his revolution in Rome.
