Moise Kean is a reported target for Everton. It is rumoured negotiations are ongoing.
The Goodison Park club is believed to be close to a deal. According to the Mirror a fee in the region of 36 million pounds. The only hold right now seems to be the terms of the deal.
The 19-year-old Italian is held in high regard by Juventus. Scoring seven in 17 appearances last season. While for Roberto Mancini’s national team he managed 2 goals in 3 games.
The star-studded line up at Juventus however, seems to mean that playing time is limited. Neither the player or the club want to see his talent wasted on the bench.
With the Bianconeri wanting to raise funds for more acquisitions, a loan deal doesn’t suit them. What they are insisting on is a buy-back clause in the agreement.
This is not something the Toffees feel is appropriate given the size of the fee involved.
But while the deal is close, Juventus will not want to rubber-stamp anything, unless a suitable replacement is lined up.
It is believed that the possibility of Wilfried Zaha coming to Merseyside is looking slim if this deal happens. There is an air of frustration about any possible deal for Crystal Palace man. The saga just appears to be never-ending.
For once the money is not the issue at Goodison. They have offloaded players that have brought their net spend on replacements to almost nothing.
Kean is younger than Zaha, more versatile and almost half the price. Having also played at the level Marco Silva wants to take Everton too, he seems a perfect fit.
Marco Silva has his project well organised and structured at Goodison. Both he and director of football Marcel Brands are working closely together with a common goal. Their concluded and potential business in the transfer market is very telling.
