Tottenham have bid 30 million pounds plus Josh Onomah for Ryan Sessegnon.

As the transfer window nears closing time, the mad dash to strengthen squads is on.

According to Goal.com, Mauricio Pochettino and Spurs have gone all out for the Fulham winger.

The 19-year-old has always been a priority summer target for Spurs.

It is believed Sessengon would like to advance his career with a top-six team. He hopeful of concluding a move to the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham smashed their transfer record with the signing of midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. Since then it’s been slow going.

The expected departure of Christian Eriksen never seemed to materialise.

The building of the new stadium, that went well over budget was always going to hurt transfer activity.

But Mauricio Pochettino has been visibly aggravated and agitated by the lack of acquisitions by his chairman Daniel Levy.

The 19-year-old has been seen as ever-present in the Fulham squad for the last three seasons. In his first two seasons, he managed 21 goals in 75 appearances.

All be it a championship level, it was deemed impressive given his age. He was 16 when he made his debut.

His first season in the Premier League was a little less impressive, and he found himself either out of the team or on the bench at times.

He was absent form Fulhams last preseason friendly at Barnsley due to an injury.

The Craven Cottage outfit remain hopeful of keeping their prized asset but are not 100% sure.

Fulham Manager Scott Parker, when asked about Sessegnon, said:

“Future-wise, I’m not sure.”

“Obviously I’ve read all the speculation, we’ve all seen the speculation over the summer.”

“To this point now there’s been nothing that would suggest to me that Sessegnon leaving would be the case.”

“We’re planning with Ryan around, really.”

Josh Onomah, the 22-year-old academy graduate is looking for a way out of Tottenham.

He has seen opportunities become few and far between. He spent the previous season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday.

If the Sessegnon deal doesn’t materialize, he is hopeful of another move to a promotion hopeful in that division.
