The duo have been linked to United but Lescott thinks they should aim for better clubs that would be in the Champions League.
Grealish and Jimenez are top targets for United in the summer but Joeleon Lescott believes both players should stay clear off any possible move.
Grealish is linked to United so bad that he is even reported to have started house hunting, as per Goal.
Raul Jimenez is also another heavily linked player to the club after emerging as one of the top strikers in the Premier League in the past seasons.
And now Lescott, who played for Aston Villa and City in his career says both players should rather aim for a guaranteed Champions League side.
He told Grand National: “When you look at the spectrum of teams, Manchester United are still a big club but with regards to Jack Grealish.. if he leaves Aston Villa he’s going to want to play Champions League and that’s not guaranteed at Man United, even in the future.
“I would love to see him test himself in the highest level because I think he’s capable of playing at real heights.
“In terms of how he can test himself against the very best, is he going to be able to do that at Man United as they’re not guaranteed Champions League football?
“The interest in Jimenez doesn’t surprise me, he’s performed consistently over the past two seasons and that’s the key. But like Grealish, he should be aiming for the Champions League as well”.
Grealish has impressed for Villa this season, being one of their standout performers and is widely tipped for a move out of the club during the summer.
