Jack Grealish will not join Manchester United for several reasons, and the main one being that he “loves” Aston Villa.

According to his manager Dean Smith, Jack Grealish is committed to Aston Villa.

Not only do the club not want to or need to sell the player, Smith insists Grealish’s love for Villa is so deep he doesn’t want to leave.

It’s Villas first season since returning to the Premier League, and Grealish has been a revelation.

It was questioned whether or not he could hack it at the top, but this season has shown otherwise.

He has flourished at the highest level.

Grealish had the perfirmance of a life time aganst Manchester United the other night, and that has now fueled specualtion about an immenent offer from the Red Devils.

This has prompted Villa manager Dean Smith to set the record straight in an interview reported by The Mirror.

He said:

“I’ve seen speculation in the press with pundits linking him with other clubs.”

“What they don’t realize, I’ve worked with this kid for 14 months, he tells the story himself of jumping into a bush in the garden at six years old pretending it was the Holte End.”

“He’s Villa through and through, he’s now performing on the biggest stage he can in the Premier League for Aston Villa.”

” He’s playing well, scoring goals, creating assists and it’s a club he loves.”

“He signed a new deal at the start of last season, we’ve got two very wealthy owners who want to build the team around Jack.”

“They can keep linking him, but this is the one club he loves and that’s probably the most important thing.”

With Villa struggling in the Premier League, it will be interesting to see if Grealish has the same love if his club goes back down to the Championship at the end of the season.
