The Spurs received possibly one of the best news of the year so far, they got striker Harry Kane back to training with his teammates on Wednesday.

We already received the good news of Harry Kane going back to the training pitch on Monday for Spurs, the English striker came back from the ankle injury a full week ahead of schedule and he might even see action against Burnley on the weekend.

However, this Wednesday was the biggest confidence boost for all the Tottenham Hotspur’s fans and Kane’s own teammates as the striker was spotted training alongside the rest of the squad apparently with no pain from his recent problems.

We have to remember that the striker fell injured weeks ago with a serious ankle problem that kept him out of all competitions for a long time, he watched how a brave Tottenham Hotspur got very positive results without him and Dele Alli who is also injured at the moment.

Kane comes back in a very crucial time for the English squad, just a few weeks before they get to travel to Germany in order to play against Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League.

Fortunately for Kane, Mauricio Pochettino’s squad got a key 3-0 victory at Wembley Stadium last week against the Bundesliga’s top club at the moment and practically got one foot on the tournament’s quarterfinals.

Despite getting this massive boost for the possible next round in the Champions League, it’s no secret that having Harry Kane back in action is arguably one of the best things that could’ve happened to Pochettino’s squad at the moment.

This new addition to the squad can finally give South Korean Son Heung-min a well-deserved rest for the upcoming Premier League match against Burnley, nobody will forget the heroics that the Asian forward has completed during the weeks in which he practically carried the team as both Kane and Alli got better from their respective injuries.

Mauricio Pochettino repeatedly praised Son for what he’s done so far, but all the Spurs fans know that they are going to need him at his best for the return leg in Dortmund.

Harry Kane will most likely get the minutes he requires from this moment forward in order to get back into rhythm, he hasn’t played for a while and he will need some time to adapt back to every competition.

On Wednesday, it was Kane himself who posted a picture on his official Twitter account where he celebrated his return to practice alongside all his teammates and the reactions from the fans were quite overwhelming.

The matches that Harry Kane might play for Spurs

Initially, Harry Kane was supposed to miss all the upcoming matches from the time he got injured until one match after his squad faced Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League’s second leg.

The English striker showed a great level of commitment during the recovery process from his injury, something that sped things up and has him back in training this soon in the competition.

Manager Maurizio Pochettino will most likely hand the player a few minutes against Burnley, this boost will come just in time for three crucial upcoming matches in the only two competitions that Tottenham has left to fight for a trophy.

The first match that Kane was going to miss in the Premier League was the Spurs’ trip to Stamford Bridge, then he was going to miss the North London Derby against Arsenal at Wembley Stadium.

A total of two London Derbies right before the return leg at Dortmund, all three of these matches will happen during the first ten days of March.

Kane missed out on some important games, but he didn’t fall too far behind the Premier League’s top scorers as he is only three goals behind leaders Sergio Aguero and Mohamed Salah, both with 17 goals.

Kane has enough time to catch up and get back to the top, things are going to get more exciting now.
