Roberto Baggio is one of Italy’s most adored players of all time and is still one of the country’s most iconic sportsmen.
On Roberto Baggio’s birthday, the perfect excuse to share this goal again. For Brescia vs Juve in 2001.
The Divine Ponytail is 34 years old and still fucking brilliant. That first touch – from an Andrea Pirlo pass – is one of the best you’ll ever see.pic.twitter.com/nqn1NfZuou

He spent 19 years in Serie A from 1985 to 2004 and played for six different clubs: Fiorentina, Juventus, Milan, Bologna, Inter and Brescia.
Baggio was a set-piece specialist, known for his pace, technique and uncanny vision that allowed him to set up his teammates for goals as well as finish on his own.
He was known as the ‘Divine Ponytail’, due to his hairstyle and scored 205 Serie A goals in 452 appearances, which ranks him number seven on the league’s all-time scoring list.
Roberto Baggio won the Serie A twice: in 1995 with Juventus and the following year with AC Milan.
He is the only Italian to have scored in three World Cups, from 1990 to 1998 and the darkest moment in his career is the decisive penalty miss in the 1994 World Cup final shoot-out against Brazil.
