The Champions League has put together Barcelona against Bayern Munich in a mouth-watering quarter-final clash.

Chelsea were on the receiving end of a thrashing by Bayern Munich. On the other hand, a Lionel Messi show ended Napoli’s chances of progress.

The two European juggernauts take on each other with stakes getting greater with every passing fixture.

It was La Publga who dominated the proceeding against Napoli and Antoine Griezmann wants to get in the action. Griezmann shared that he is looking forward to the fixture, which will be tough for both teams.

“We are looking forward to it, we have worked well tactically and we are ready to play the game,” Griezmann told Barca TV.

“We know it will be difficult, but we know what we have to do to qualify for the semifinals. It will be a very good match.”

“We hope to take advantage of the quality we have. We are in a good moment and we can play a good game.”

Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski come face to face in this crunch encounter. Griezmann praised Lewandowski for his rich vein of form.

However, he added that the Polish forward is not the only attacking threat Bayern possess. He pointed at the threat of Thomas Muller and Serge Gnabry, to make his point.

“Bayern are playing very well, they have a great striker, but we also have the tools to play a great game. We have to look at our strengths and try to qualify,” the 2018 World Cup winner added.

“They’re a very physical team that’s used to having the ball. We have to make life difficult for them and play our game.”

“Bayern are not just Lewandowski. The wingers get forward a lot, Müller, Gnabry are also very good… Lewandowski scores a lot of goals but the danger comes from anywhere.”
