Antoine Griezmann joined Barcelona this summer in a blockbuster which saw the Catalans pay up €120 for the Frenchman’s services.
Even though Griezmann is putting up some acceptable numbers, the eye-test isn’t looking good for him.
Playing on the left affects Griezmann in a negative way. It’s obvious he’s struggling out wide, given that he’s more used to playing centrally.
And now, even Griezmann himself opened up about the issue.
“I’m learning a lot, although I knew coming to Barcelona would be difficult,” Griezmann said, as quoted by Express.
“If I play more centrally, I’m more orientated.
“I’ve played [up front] for many years, and now I have to adapt.”
