A contingency plan is being discussed at the Allianz Arena as their prolific No. 7 continues to be linked with a move away.

Cristiano Ronaldo is facing an uncertain future at Juventus. While rumors about his potential exit have consistently surfaced during his time at the club, they have grown more intense than ever recently in light of Juventus’ slip in standards.

2020-21 marked the undoing of the Italian giants in Serie A as their long-running title-winning streak finally came to an end. Juve came close to missing out on Champions League football owing to their struggles under Andrea Pirlo but managed to secure a fourth-place finish.

Another factor promoting talks of CR7’s departure is his inability to help the Bianconeri achieve their true goal. He has scored 101 goals in three seasons while breaking numerous records in the process and led the team to several domestic honors but has been unable to guide them to European glory.

Ronaldo’s exit would force the Old Lady to dip in the transfer market – and the Allianz Arena chiefs have already started planning for life after the five-time Ballon d’Or winner according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

Antoine Griezmann, Mauro Icardi, Gabriel Jesus, Edin Dzeko, and Dusan Vlahovic are some of the names on the Juventus wishlist, as per the Italian national sports newspaper (via Football Italia).

Massimiliano Allegri is keen on bolstering his attacking options ahead of 2021/21 – so much so that he wants four attackers in his squad.

Juventus’ transfer strategy will be heavily influenced by Ronaldo’s decision over his future as the club would only target big names after raising funds from his sale.
