Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City is going through a crisis this season as they are unable to put up a string of wins in the Premier League.
The latest disappointment for Guardiola arrived last night.
A goal from Matt Doherty drowned the Citizens as they lost 3-2 to Wolverhampton.
After the match, Pep completely ruled City out the title race.
“I said many times, ‘it’s unrealistic to think about Liverpool. We have to think about Leicester’. We have a chance to recover second position.
“We are third and that is the situation.
“We have to move on.
“The first season was quite similar to now but in the second and third seasons we were there all the time and winning a lot of games.
“Now, because of some mistakes and some other situations, we are far away,” Pep said, as quoted by FourFourTwo.
The big tests are yet to come for Guardiola. City won’t have time to rest – they face Sheffield United on Sunday.
