Pep Guardiola has urged Manchester City to learn from their mistakes in the draw against Crystal Palace.

Despite suffering another draw, Pep Guardiola has insisted that Manchester City performed better but Crystal Palace managed to snatch points without ‘doing much.’

Sergio Aguero took his goal tally to 251 after scoring two quick goals to give Man City the lead. But Crystal Palace were determined not to end the match without giving in a fight as they found a late goal to level the scoreline.

Recalling the match events, Pep Guardiola was disappointed to see Man City drop two crucial points. Speaking to the reporters, the Man City boss claimed that although they tried their best, they fell short of luck. Guardiola also added that it was an opportunity for them to learn about their mistakes.

“I think we did everything,” Guardiola told BBC.

“They defended so deep. We knew that, so we attacked – crosses and corners, put the ball inside. They didn’t do much but they win one point.

“The spirit was there. We tried and we tried. At the end, we came back and it was a pity to drop two points in this way but that is football and we have to learn from these situations.”
