Pep Guardiola has insisted that he will have no involvement over Leroy Sane’s transfer.
Leroy Sane finally returned to the Manchester City training ground after suffering a prolonged injury since the start of the season.
The German international was linked with a move to Bayern Munich and was due to complete his move before being sidelined. And, once again, rumors indicate that Bayern identify Sane as an ideal fit for their squad.
Recently, Pep Guardiola claimed that he would not like to keep Sane tied to Manchester City beyond his will and does not have any say over the player’s future. The City boss praised the 23-year old stating that he was one who persuaded Sane to sign for Man City
“Each one has his own family, desires, dreams, and above that, I can’t do anything,” Guardiola said as per Daily Mail.
“They have dreams. I want him back fit. His knee looks really good. After that, it is not my business. It’s the club, agent and player. It’s not in my hands.
“He’s a nice person. I was the guy who pushed the club and convinced him to come, even when he didn’t play regularly at Schalke,” Guardiola added.
It’s a question for Leroy, his agents, and the club. I’m not involved. What’s important now is he has to recover well. He knows what we believe.”
