Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City slid through Burnley last night in a convincing 4-1 win backed by Gabriel Jesus’ brace.
After a crisis in results, Guardiola’s team looks to be back on track.
However, the Spaniard still doesn’t think that the title race is possible. When asked about if the title race is over, he replied:
“I don’t believe it but it’s not about if I don’t believe it or not.
“Our team is stable, but with the distance we have to Liverpool, it would be a little bit crazy to think about the title, honestly,” he told Sky Sports.
Nevertheless, Pep will be pleased to see the resurgence of the Brazilian striker.
The Citizens are now looking ahead at the Manchester derby scheduled on Saturday at 18:30 CET.
