Ilkay Gundogan can see forward Raul Jimenez turning into a Robert Lewandowski type player maybe even at Manchester City.
Raul Jimenez currently plays for Wolverhampton Wanderers but has constantly been linked with a move away to the so-called big six in the Premier League.
However, no matter much the player himself distances himself from the Wolves exit door. Or even how well his Wolves side does, bigger clubs will always be linked to him.
Speaking to ESPN, Gundogan was full of praise for the Mexican international. He sees similarities in his game to some of his former and current teammates.
The German international can even see him at Manchester City.
“I think he has everything a world-class striker needs.”
“For a striker, he is so mobile, but also physically so good and talented technically on the ball. I can imagine him playing with us.”
“Maybe he’s not on this level yet, but he reminds me a little bit of Lewandowski.”
“I’ve played with him, in terms of style I think there is still a lot of potential.”
“I think Jimenez would get a chance in every single top-six team and there’s a good possibility he could do well.”
