Erling Braut Haaland has dismissed the rumors that his wage demands scuppered a move to Manchester United as comical.
Since Erling Braut Haaland shocked the world and signed for Borussia Dortmund, there has been endless speculation as to why.
Manchester United were the outright favorites and in many people’s eyes the only club in the race.
So when it was announced all of a sudden he had joined Borussia Dortmund, the footballing world was in shock. Of course, we wanted to know why?

In an interview with ViaSport, the young Norweigan striker admits United boss Solskjaer played a huge part in his career so far.
He insists that the move to Dortmund was simply the best move for him right now.
“Ole has been very important for me in getting to where I am today.”
“But we concluded that Dortmund was the best option for me.”

Haaland wouldn’t mind a minute face to face with the people who are spreading the rumors about his financial demands.
“It’s the guys writing would have to speak to that.”
