Croatian young star Alen Halilovic is ready to live up to his huge potential at AC Milan.
The Croatian young star believes spending time at Sporting Gijon and Las Palmas will help him in good stead at Milan.
Halilovic admits he has struggled to live up to his initial billing as one of the brightest prospects in football but feels the experience he has gained on loan so far should help him settle in at the San Siro.
He signed for the Rossoneri from Hamburg on a three-year deal joining fellow Croatian Nikola Kalinic at the club.
Halilovic was asked about his time at Barcelona at a press conference.
“I was 19 when I joined Barcelona two years ago and it’s hard when you’re young and not playing.” He told reporters via Goal.
“I’m 22 now and I think I’m ready to take the next step in my career.”
The Croatian midfielder has said he’ll learn Italian to ease his transition in Milan.
