Inter Milan captain Samir Handanovic is eagerly anticipating their Europa League fixtures but does not know how they will fare.

The Nerazzurri finished the Serie A season a point off champions Juventus. It was an incredible start for Antonio Conte at the San Siro, tasked with ending the Juventus dynasty that he began nine years ago.

It is not all lost and Inter can still finish the season with silverware to show for. They are still involved in the Europa League and can add to their honors list.

Samir Handanovic is eagerly awaiting their Europa League adventures and believes Inter are in the right frame of mind for their journey in the second-tier European cup competition.

However, the Slovenian does not want to commit any promises and believes anything can happen.

“All the teams think the same way. We are fine, even physically,” Football Italia quoted Handanovic at a press conference. “We are ready to give our best and then we don’t know where our best will take us.”

“We are doing well mentally and physically, and we have shown it. We all care about keeping clean sheets, not only the goalkeeper and the defenders.”

“Our determination has grown; this will also be fundamental in this competition.”

Handanovic has had an impressive season between the sticks. He kept 14 clean sheets but only one of these came in the European cup competitions.
